SQUARE SHOULDER ROUTER MILL

The Square Shoulder Router Mill tools are for square shoulder 90° milling (routing), slotting, blind pocket milling, profiling, and aggressive ramping, all in non-ferrous materials.  The Square Shoulder Router Mill can be very aggressive with material removal.  With an aggressive axial top rake as well as insert design that allows for a high speed, high sheer cutting geometry.   This combination of high speed and high sheer cutting geometries can create less tooling pressure in the cut, which in turn results in extremely fast cutting times. This will result in decreasing overall manufacturing times on production parts.  The Square Shoulder Router Mill is equipped with coolant thru the tool and is best utilized any place aluminum milling is required.  Aircraft industry for one, benefits for the fast material removal rates that this tooling can attain. Square Shoulder Router Mill tools are manufactured with integral and Weldon shanks, the Weldon shank is equipped with coolant thru the tool.
