PLUNGE MILL

The Plunge Milling Tools are Vermont Indexable Tooling’s version of a drill/mill.  This cutter is a flat bottom, center cutting designed cutter that can plunge into solid material and ramp off from the original plunge location to produce blind cavities in parts. The Plunge Mill can also be used to slot parts.  This is a versatile tool that can accomplish many tasks.  All these tools are featured with coolant thru the tool.  The Plunge Mill with the correct style of insert will allow the tool to be run in steels, cast irons, exotics and non-ferrous materials.
